This university is present in Batumi, Adjara a place in Georgia. The university was named after the Georgian poet Shota Rustaveli. Initially, a Boys’ Gymnasium was planned in Batumi. While the first floor was granted to the gym, the second floor had a church, classrooms, assembly halls, laboratory and library. Later on, a women’s gymnasium was opened in the region as well. Later on, the facility was changed into a college. The institution is recognized by WHO and NMC along other organizations. The university is well known all over the world for its medical studies.
